MSI Launched Multiple Gaming Laptops with RTX 3000 Series in India

The budget gaming laptop market has increased quite a bit in last few years, mainly because of streaming games becoming more and more mainstream. And one of those OEMs who started giving good budget gaming laptops is MSI. Though these days we don’t listen much about MSI, but it still has a good fanbase and providing good value gaming laptops. Just like today, when it launched a series of gaming laptops in Indian market. There are mainly three series launched today, GP Leopard, Pulse GL, and Katana GF. Under these series there will be more than one variant, based on specs. So, without further ado, let’s have a look at all these new gaming laptops.

MSI GP Leopard:

First series launched today is GP Leopard. It has two variants with names GP66 Leopard 11UG and GP76 Leopard 11UG. GP66 has a 15.6-inch Full HD display, whereas GP76 has 17.3-inch Full HD display. Both has a refresh rate of 240Hz. Both comes with Intel Core i7 11th Gen processor, up to 64GB RAM, and NVME PCIe Gen4 x4 SSD. There’s Nvidia’s RTX 3070 GPU with 8GB GDDR6 VRAM on both. There are stereo speakers by Nahimic 3 Audio Enhance Technology. Connectivity wise, there’s an HDMI port, USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, Gigabit Ethernet port, mini-display port, and Wi-Fi 6E.

MSI Pulse GL:

This series also has two models, Pulse GL66 and Pulse GL76. Both series has same 15.6-inch and 17.3-inch Full HD display, respectively. But the refresh rate is down to 144Hz now. It also skips Gigabit Ethernet port. And SSD storage options are also lesser. Rest all specs are same as GP Leopard.

MSI Katana GF:

This is even more lowered series than Pulse GL. It also has two models, Katana GF66 with 15.6-inch display and Katana GF76 with 17.3-inch display. It has lower GPU options like RTX 3060 with 6GB GDDR6 VRAM and RTX 3050 with 4GB GDDR6 VRAM. And it has Intel i5 11th Gen variant. Rest of the specs are same as Pulse GL series.

• MSI GP76 Leopard 11UG starts at ₹2,01,990 
• MSI Pulse GL66 starts at ₹1,39,990 
• MSI Pulse GL76 starts at ₹1,45,990 
• MSI Katana GF66 starts at ₹95,990 
• MSI Katana GF76 starts at ₹1,11,990 
• All these models will available from MSI Stores and other online/offline stores in India. 

So these are the new lineup of MSI gaming laptops. Though these are not budget friendly laptops, they are certainly a decent value. Instead of Intel, the latest Ryzen 5000 series CPU would be a better option for top class performance and it will cut down the cost a bit more. What are your thoughts on this?
