The Japanese electronics giant Sony is reportedly launching multiple new devices in its Xperia series and it is worth mentioning that Qualcomm has already confirmed that the company will be adopting the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 mobile processor.
Now, The Walkman Blog has discovered a set of model IDs pointing to a second unreleased Xperia smartphone, shifting speculation away from a possible device dubbed the Sony Xperia 5 series.
The source has discovered the six additional codes including PM-1530-BV, PM-1531-BV, PM-1532-BV, PM-1533-BV, PM-1534-BV, and PM-1555-BV and they are believed to represent regional variants of a new mid-range smartphone of Sony.
It is expected to be the Sony Xperia 10 VIII and this could be coming with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset.
