The smart TV market is becoming very competitive in India from recent few years. All thanks to Xiaomi, Indian consumers are getting good Smart TVs at a very affordable price. Still there are some key features which are rarely seen in a below ₹40,000 TV, like Netflix and Amazon Prime. These two are the most popular content streaming services in India, and most of the budget and mid-range TV lacks both of them.
Now today Xiaomi announced that they are partnering with Netflix for their Smart TVs and they are going to unveil something on this on 17th September i.e. on their Smart Living 2020 event. It’s a direct indication that this streaming service will be available in Mi TVs. They uploaded a video Titled “Ab balidaan nahi dena hoga” where they showed a glimpse of popular Netflix shows, and a teaser of the partnership between both of them. But as of now, we don’t know that if Netflix will be available on existing Mi TVs or only on upcoming Mi TV or Redmi TV? (Whatever they will launch)
So that’s still great news because now we will see at least Netflix on mid-range TVs, and maybe budget as well. What are your thoughts on this news? Do you think that Netflix will be available for existing Mi TVs or for just the upcoming one? Let us know in the comment section below. Also stay tuned with us for more information.
