The California-based online streaming service provider Netflix has announced that it is testing the long duration packages in India and the company also offers a decent amount of discounts for all the new packages. The new testing is applicable for both the mobile as well as desktop users and the company has introduced the new plans for the validity of 3 months to 1 year.
Netflix is now allowing its users to choose long duration pack and it will also offer the Mobile, Basic, Standard, and Premium plans at a discount price. The company is offering the 3 month plan for ₹1,919 and that comes with a discount of 20%, the 6 month plan is coming with ₹3,359 which is also coming with a 30% discount, and the annual plan will cost ₹4,799 and that offers 50% discount over the regular pricing.
Having said that, the company is testing its long duration packages with the selected users and it is not available across the country but the company is testing the same in certain regions of the country. It is worth to mention that this is not the first time the company is testing something special for the Indian users, as earlier this year the company tested the mobile only plan and implemented in India at unavailable pricing.
