Vivo is gearing up to introduce its latest and greatest Vivo X300 Ultra and it is believed to be announced before the end of this month. Now the company has announced two new ZEISS telephoto extender lenses that will be improving zooming capabilities. The company has already introduced the 400mm teleconverter at MWC 2026, and now the company’s product manager Han Boxiao has also confirmed a 200mm variant.
Vivo will be offering a 400mm telephoto extender G2 Ultra, which is designed for creators and the lens features an equivalent 400mm focal length. The company also claims that the telephoto camera now supports improved optical stabilization, including around 3° optical stabilization along with a new high-refresh tracking system. It is also suggested that this allows users to capture usable shots even at focal lengths as extreme as 1600mm.
The company has also introduced a redesigned second-generation 200mm extender lens G2 and the same will be offering lighter design that will make it easy to carry. The company has also updated the optical design and it includes 15 elements.
