Apple has officially introduced the new version of Apple Vision Pro headset and it comes with the power of the newly announced M5 chip. The company has also introduced the device with a new Dual Knit Band and the latest visionOS 26 software. So let’s get into account the full details.
Everything about Apple Vision Pro (M5)
It comes with the power of the latest Apple M5 processor that features a 10-core CPU, 10-core GPU, and a 16-core Neural Engine. The company says that the new device is capable to render about 10 percent more pixels on its custom micro-OLED displays compared to the previous generation.
The device also comes with over 4K resolution per eye, around 23 million pixels in total, the device can now support refresh rates up to 120Hz, up from 100Hz before. Apple is still using the R1 chip along with the improved Neural Engine.
Apple has introduced the new Apple Vision Pro also comes with a Dual Knit Band designed to better distribute weight and improve comfort. The device can offer 3 hours of run time with the external battery pack.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device has a starting price of $3,499 in the US and will go on sale from October 22 in Australia, Canada, mainland China, Hong Kong, France, Germany, Japan, Singapore, the UAE, the UK, and the US.
