All smartphone manufacturers are busy developing different foldable phone concepts and ideas. And TCL is no different. TCL has presented two types of foldable phones. One with a three-way foldable display and another that can roll onto underneath the body.
The display panels are developed by TCL-CSOT, an in-house division of TCL. This new concept fits a 10-inch size screen into the body of a 6.65″ device. The display comes with 3K resolution and a 20:8:9 aspect ratio.

The foldable uses hinge-design, as seen in Samsung Galaxy Fold and Huawei Mate X, enabling the three-side bend with one side of the display tucked behind another. But these designs are named DragonHinge and ButterflyHinge, respectively.
The second design choice is, even more daring with a motorized display coming from one of the sides under the main screen with the press of a button. There is no way to pull out the screen at present manually.
This AMOLED Rollable display grows from 6.75-inch to 7.8-inch when unfolded. One advantage of this kind of design concept is the elimination of creases on display.

TCL has not spoken about the availability and price of these foldable phones at the moment.
One should know that foldable phones are the future. Even though these ideas may not be practical at the moment, most smartphone makers are racking their genius brains to come up with solutions that appeal to the general consumer and satisfy the tech community. These foldable aim to make the user experience better by simplifying the multitasking between apps. The ability to carry massive screens in a jeans pocket and bringing it to full size when desired to enjoy binge-watching on the go is a thing one would think was impossible a decade ago.
