So the season of leaks on Google Pixel devices has started and we are seeing quite a bit of Pixel 3/XL related leaks and rumours. We know that Pixel 3 XL will have a notch design whereas regular one will have simple 18:9 ratio with thin bezels. Recently we got to know that both new Pixels will have a glass back. Thus, chances of wireless charging are also high. Now a new leak pops up which suggests about an accessory by Google.
A new string code cracked by 9to5Google from Google app shows that Google might also launch a device named as ‘Pixel Stand’. As the name suggests and going through the previous leak, this might be the Google’s own wireless charging pad. If going through the third string code, this Pixel Stand is more than just a charging dock. The code shows that users can use the Google Assistant even without unlocking the phone when it’s placed on Pixel Stand. Voice commands can be given to Assistant and the phone will perform the task with the screen being off. As the time will pass Google might add a few more features to this Pixel Stand.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. I hope that this stand will have fast wireless charging, maybe Qualcomm’s Quick Charge 3 or something equivalent to that.
