The South Korean electronics brand LG has officially announced its 2026 Gram laptop series before the prestigious CES 2026 event, and the latest laptop series comes with extremely light designs along with giving more emphasis on durability and the devices support AI-powered features.
LG is offering the laptop series with the form of Aerominum, a new magnesium-aluminum alloy developed using aerospace-inspired techniques. It is also said that this selected models qualify as Microsoft Copilot+ PCs and feature what LG describes as a “dual AI” approach. It is actually the combination of on-device AI processing with cloud-based features. The company is also open its own LG gram chat runs on the EXAONE 3.5 small language model (sLLM) and is designed to work even without an internet connection, focusing on everyday productivity and creative tasks.
You will be getting the updated gram Link, improving connectivity between Gram laptops and other devices. It is also supporting easier file sharing and screen mirroring across Android and iOS phones, as well as LG’s webOS products such as TVs and monitors.
The laptop series also includes multiple options, including the LG gram Pro AI in 17-inch and 16-inch sizes, the 16-inch gram Pro 360 AI, gram AI models in 14-inch and 15-inch sizes, and the gram Book AI.
One of the devices is the upcoming LG gram Pro AI 17 (17Z90UR) and the same is said to be the lightest 17-inch laptop with discrete graphics, featuring an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 and a 2560×1600 LCD display. The device will be coming with a 16-inch as well and this particular variant will come with a 77Wh battery and a 2880×1800 OLED panel. The company will be showing the new laptop series during the upcoming event on January.
