Nexus 6 Receives Android 7.1.1 Update

After unveiling the Nexus 6 in 2014 the search engine giant Google has rolled out unexpected Android update to the device even after the end of its software update, as the support for the latest update ended in October, last year. The latest update which Google rolls out to the new Nexus 6, has upgraded the device to Android Nougat 7.0 to Android Nougat 7.1.1 and many users have reported (Via: Android Police) that they have received the update.

The latest update weights between 344 MB and 911 MB, and the update changes change in the baseband version: from MDM9625_104670.31.05.45R to MDM9625_104670.31.05.51R. The build number is N8I11F. And the security patch remains same as the last update i.e. October 2017.

So, this is really good to see that Google rolling out the update to the device to the four years old and we hope that this will be the last and final update of the Nexus 6. If you are the user of the device, then check for the update and download it and upgrade to the Android Nougat 7.1.1.
