The Google Nexus 6P which was unveiled way back in 2015 had issues and that was some devices to be stuck in bootloop and users cannot able to start the device because the operating system was not able to you start. The Nexus 6P was built by the Chinese brand Huawei, as ahead of the Pixel-lineup, the tech giant Google collaborates with the different smartphone brands to make the Nexus devices.
Well, if you are among the owners of Nexus 6P then you guys have great news, as a settlement case was filed the for this issue in 2017 and this may give the users upto $400. The case is in the last stage and seeks the final approval by the court, but it proposes that both Google and Huawei would be liable for a $9.75 million settlement for a lawsuit.
Having said that, the proposed settlement says that the users who are affected by the issue may get the compensation up to $400 but they have to produce the proper documentation. And the users who don’t have the proper documentation could also get the compensation of a minimum $10.
As we mentioned above, the case is in the final stage and that’s why we only wait for the final judgment by the Honorable Judge. And if you are defective yourself then keep an eye on the judgment.
