The popular electric vehicles maker Nio has officially introduced their second generation smartphone called the Nio Phone 2. The company has introduced the device without pre installed applications and advertisements. The device also offers a seamless integration with its electric vehicles as well. The newly announced Nio Phone 2 smartphone features a 6.82-inch QHD+ display with a peak brightness of 2600 nits and the display is a custom-made along with four-curved panel from Samsung which supports a variable refresh rate from 1Hz to 120Hz. The device also comes with 1440Hz high-frequency dimming.
It comes with the power of the latest and greater Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 mobile processor along with the “Gun Yu Cooling System”. The company says that the device will keep a surface temperature of 40°C while running “Honor of Kings” at 119 frames per second, and 47.6°C while playing “Honkai Impact 3” at 59.5 frames per second.
The device comes with a 48MP LYT-T808 (IMX888) main sensor on the back along with a 48MP LYT-600 (IMX882) ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP IMX890 periscope telephoto lens. The smartphone houses a massive 5020mAh battery along with 80W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.
The company offers the latest Nio Phone 2 smartphone with a customized version of Android and it is said that the device has “0 system ads and 0 commercial pre-installed apps.” It also comes with “NOMI GPT,” and the same is a suite of AI features and it is built around Nio’s self-developed multimodal perception, cognitive center, emotion engine, and multi-expert Agent. The device also comes with a large model encyclopedia along with AI-powered chat experiences, and the device also comes with car-related functions like Q&A and scene generation.
It also comes with the “NIO Link Car Broadcast” function and the same will enable you to directly access the car’s camera system for live streaming, or it is also capable to show the driving driving perspective during WeChat video calls. The second feature requires you to sit on the passenger seat.
