It was recently said that the company will be launching the device on September 21. Today the official looking render and the real life image of the device were spotted. Going through the official looking renders, we can see that the upcoming device is having a quad-camera setup on the left and the device features a curved glass back panel along with the NIO logo at the centre position of the back panel. The real life image of the device is spotted in the hands of an NIO employee.
The upcoming NIO Phone has already secured network access licenses and the device will be available in two storage options including 16GB+512GB and 16GB+1TB. The upcoming device is also expected to incorporate UWB technology as well.
The upcoming smartphone will offer good performance without any heating problems. The device will also provide power saving and long standby times as well. It is also confirmed that the device will feature a designing setup of the cars of the brand and it will offer an amazing experience with the second generation car models of the company.
The smartphone will offer some features on the first generation cars as well but there will be some limitations due to the hardware restrictions. We previously reported that the upcoming Nio Phone appears on the AnTuTu benchmarking platform and the platform is confirming that the device will feature a 120Hz refresh rate display. It is also confirmed to come with an overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with 12 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will be running on the Android 13 operating system out of the box.
In AnTuTu’s CPU, GPU, memory, and UX tests, the upcoming Nio phone scored 355,091, 434,891, 304,072, and 266,920 points, respectively. The device is capable to manage a total score of 1,360,974.
