After unveiling the Nokia 2.3 early this month, today HMD Global has launched the device in the market of India and it is a budget smartphone with decent specifications, the company also offers a 1-year free replacement if there is any problem with the hardware. Nokia 2.3 is coming with the price tag of ₹8,199 and the device will available from December 27 from the official website of the company and retail stores. Specifications of Nokia 2.3
The device sports a 6.2 inch HD+ display with 1520 X 720 pixels resolution along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and it also has a waterdrop like notch on top of it. The device is powered by quad core MediaTek Helio A22 processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. In terms of storage, the device comes with 32GB internal storage and that can be expandable upto 400 GB via microSD card.
Speaking about the camera department, the new Nokia 2.3 rocks dual rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 13 megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture along with a 2 megapixel depth sensor, the device also comes with a 5 megapixel front facing camera with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone also features a dedicated button for the Google Assistant.
Regarding the connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB (v2.0), and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Nokia 2.3 boots on Android 9.0 and the company promise to offer Android 10 but there is no timeline. Having said that, like any other Nokia devices, the new Nokia 2.3 is also based on Android One and that means users will get regular software as well as security updates. Finally, the smartphone is backed on 4,000 mAh battery and the company claims that the device will serve up to 2 days.
