Last year Nokia launched several phones in India and make a reasonably good comeback. Though they launched most of their phone at a bit higher price, but they managed to have some good sales. They also did price drops to some of their phones. Now seems like 2 of their phones are experiencing low sales, and they have to cut-down the price. We are talking about Nokia 5 and Nokia 8.
Nokia has done a price-cut to their mid-range phone Nokia 5 (3GB RAM) and flagship phone Nokia 8 in India. Both these phones seem to have low sales due to their competitors. The cheaper Nokia 5 (3GB RAM variant) was launched in August 2017 at the price of ₹13,499, and is now available for INR 12,499. Whereas the higher end Nokia 8 was launched in September 2017 at the price of ₹36,999, and is now available for just INR 28,999. The Nokia 5 with a lower price is available from various offline stores and Nokia 8 with a lower price is available on Amazon India.
So that’s all the information we have as of now. If we compare the price drop of both the phones, the Nokia 8 seems to get a major price cut. So it shows that Nokia 8 is getting low sales in India. Well, that’s mostly because of its competitor OnePlus 5/5T, which are one of the best value for money at this price. Now, do you think that both these Nokia phones are a good choice for the new pricing? Do share your thoughts in the comment section below. Also, stay tuned to us for more information.
