The Nokia owned HMD Global has launched a device in the Indian market and it is dubbed Nokia 6.1 Plus, that said, this device is not a new smartphone as it is a rebranded Nokia X6 which the company launched in China in May. Well, the company has launched the device in the Indian market with the tag of Android One.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus sports a 5.8 inch of Full HD+ 2.5D curved glass notched display with 2880×1080 resolution and 19:9 aspect ratio, protected with Gorilla Glass 3. It comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 octa core processor clocked at 1.8Ghz along with 4GB RAM variant with 64GB storage options.
The Nokia 6.1 Plus has a dual camera and it is in the combination of 16MP primary camera with f/2.0 lens, EIS and 5MP monochrome sensor with f/2.2 lens. A dual tone LED flashlight is also present. are many AI features on rear camera which will create background blur and few other features. On the front, there’s a 16MP snapper with f/2.0 lens. Furthermore, the smartphone also features Dual-Sight Mode (Bothie), and Nokia OZO Audio.
This device runs in stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, and as the smartphone is an Android One smartphone that means it will get the timely updates. Moreover, the smartphone also gives free unlimited high-quality cloud storage on Google Photos. It packs in a 3,060 mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. For security, it has the fingerprint sensor and face unlock feature.
Connectivity wise, it has dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS and USB Type-C port. Speaking about the pricing and availability, the device has the price tag of ₹15,999 and it will be available from August 30 via Flipkart and Nokia website. That said, the pre-orders of the device starting today.
