Just yesterday, the Mountain View company Google announced Android 10 (Go edition) operating system and that is meant for the low-end devices. Well, today HMD Global who has the official licensee for the Nokia mobiles released the roadmap of the new Android 10 (Go edition) operating system for its entry-level as well as low-end smartphones.
The company has confirmed that the three devices will get the latest version of the update and that includes the Nokia 1 which will receive the latest update in the second quarter of next year along with the Nokia 2.1. The company will roll out the update to the Nokia 1 Plus in the first quarter of next year which means Nokia 1 Plus will be the first Nokia smartphone to receive the new Android 10 (Go edition) operating system.

This operating system offer improvements for the low-end devices and the company is claimed to be faster than its predecessor i.e. Android Pie, and the latest version will allow users switch between apps faster and the same will have more memory-efficient. Furthermore, the company promises the OS will offer a 10 percent faster app launch.
Google has also implemented the Adiantum in the Android 10 (Go Edition), and that is a new encryption format for the low-end devices to secure the data. This format will enable the storage encryption more efficient and it doesn’t need special hardware.
