Carl Pie backed Nothing rolls out the NothingOS 1.5 open beta which is based on Android 13 after the closed beta a few weeks back. It is coming with more features and it is also suggesting that the stable update of Android 13 is around the corner for the first ever smartphone of the brand. The latest NothingOS 1.5 Open Beta brings a new weather application with custom Nothing UI along with up to 50% of speed increase in application loading time. You will also get more Material You design along with more colour schemes for matching third party apps to wallpaper.
Nothing is also bringing multi language support that allows different languages for different apps. It is also coming with the privacy improvements including the ability to select which images you want to share with each app.
The latest update is also offering notification permissions which brings control which apps can send you notifications. It is also bringing media permissions along with group the types of media you want to share. Nothing is also bringing new QR code scanner in Quick Settings which is a pretty handy implementation.
You will also get clipboard preview: copied text appears on clipboard in the bottom corner of the screen. So you can directly edit the text before pasting. Nothing is also offering a new look for Media Control. The latest software update will close active background applications directly from the notification centre to save the battery of the device.
Now the live caption will detect a speech on your device and automatically generate captions. The new software update has also increased background memory. It is also featuring a new self-repair feature and the same will make the device new forever and the same is happening by clearing unused cache and expired system dumps.
Nothing is also improving Quick Settings and the same features new network and Bluetooth device pop-ups. It is also bringing new UI for volume control. Easily adjust individual volume sliders without unlocking the screen.
The update is also improving Game Mode and also bringing dashboard support screenshots, screen recording, FPS display, and Do Not Disturb.
