Nothing announced the Nothing OS 1.5 update last week for its one and only Nothing Phone 1 smartphone and the same is based on Android 13. Now the smartphone brand is rolling out the software update officially. So let’s get into the article to check out the details.
Nothing has officially confirmed that the Nothing Phone 1 is started to receive the Android 13 update with its custom skin Nothing OS 1.5 on top.
The update is available via OTA and it is having 1.25GB in size. Before updating, make sure that the device is having a sufficient battery. If you didn’t find a notification for the update then check for the update manually by opening the settings app of the device.
The latest Android 13 update with Nothing OS 1.5 features a new weather app and it is also coming with improvements in the user interface of the camera. The update is also coming with new customisations including Glyph ringtones, notification sounds, and more Material You custom colour schemes. It is also offering lock screen shortcut customisations for the camera, torch, device control, and wallet. It is also offering visual improvements in media control interface, new volume controls, live captions, and smoother animations.
Nothing is also said that the new update offers a 50 percent increase in app loading speed, quick network settings panel, and closing active background apps from the notification centre. The software update is also bringing a new QR code scanner in the quick settings and camera app. It is also featuring a personal safety app and a new ‘self repair feature’.
