Nothing has officially confirmed to launch its Nothing Phone 2 globally in July this year and now the company has confirmed that it has reduced the carbon footprint and the device is certified by SGS, it is said that the carbon footprint of the upcoming device measures an impressive 53.45kg. Which is over 5kg lower than its predecessor.
The Nothing Phone 2 will come with a 200mAh increase in battery capacity which means the coming device will come with a 4700mAh battery the device will also come with a screen that is 0.15″ bigger than the Nothing Phone 1.
It is also confirmed that the upcoming Nothing Phone 2 is also making strides in sustainable materials usage and the same is coming with three times more recycled or bio-based parts compared to the previous generation.

The upcoming device is also coming with 100% recycled tin on nine circuit boards along with 100% recycled copper foil on the main circuit board, and over 90% recycled steel on all 28 steel stamping parts. It is also confirmed that 80% of the plastic components are sourced sustainably. The device will feature an entirely plastic-free unboxing experience. The final assembly plants of the device will have 100% renewable energy. The mid-frame of the phone will also come with 100% recycled aluminum, manufactured using 100% renewable energy.
Nothing has also confirmed that the company has extended its software support system as well and now it will offer 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates as well.
