Nothing has finally launched the much awaited smartphone dubbed Nothing Phone 3, and it is the latest premium phone of the company, which comes with lots of upgrades and a massive design change. The latest Nothing Phone 3 is launched with Glyph Matrix along with an AMOLED display, and the device also comes with 50MP cameras. The device has the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor, and it also comes with an IP68 rating as well. So here are the full details of the device.
New design Nothing Phone 3 – Glyph Matrix

The company has introduced the new Glyph Matrix, and you will see a screen at the top left corner of the back. It comes with a 25-by-25 pixel dot matrix display that is composed of 489 individually lit LEDs. You will get experiences including Spin the Bottle, Glyph Mirror, Rock Paper Scissors, and even a digital clock. The new Glyph Matrix will be offering caller ID, app-specific messages, system status details, and more.
Nothing will enable developers to access the Glyph SDK, and that means third-party Glyph Toys could start coming soon. The device also features a dedicated Glyph Button on the back, and this will enable you to cycle through these toys without waking the main display.
The company has also introduced the Essential Key, and it is a customizable side button. This particular button is already available on the recently announced Nothing Phone 3a and 3a Pro. You can capture a screenshot by simply tapping once on the button, while a long press will start recording audio.
Nothing offers its signature semi-transparent design and the same will be offering a look at its internals. The back of the device is protected by Gorilla Glass Victus. Now let’s check out the specifications of the smartphone.
Specifications of Nothing Phone 3
The newly announced Nothing Phone 3 sports a 6.67-inch LTPO AMOLED display with symmetrical bezels around the screen along with 1,280 × 2,800 pixels resolution and the device features a dynamic refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz, along with up to 1,000Hz for touch input, HDR10+, and Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The device also features a peak brightness of 4,500 nits, and the display is integrated with an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
Under the hood, the latest smartphone of Nothing comes with the power of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 mobile processor along with up to 16GB of RAM and 512 GB of internal storage.
Speaking about the camera department, the Nothing Phone 3 features a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and a large 1/1.3-inch sensor, a 50MP OIS periscope camera that supports 3x optical zoom, 6x lossless zoom, and up to 60x AI Super Res Zoom. The periscope lens of the device will also work as a macro lens, and the device also comes with a 50MP ultra-wide lens. The device also features a 50MP front camera.
The device runs on Android 15 with Nothing OS 3.5 out of the box and it is promised to receive five major Android updates and seven years of security patches for the device. The device houses a large 5,150mAh battery with 65W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. The device also supports reverse wireless charging at 5W. The device also comes with an IP68 rating, and the device has metal frame.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the device with 12GB RAM / 256GB storage variant has a price tag of ₹79,999 while the 16GB RAM / 512GB storage option comes with a price tag of ₹89,999. It will be available from July 4 via Flipkart, and sales will start from July 15.
