Nothing has introduced the latest Nothing Phone 4a smartphone with a simple design and the phone comes with a pill-shaped rear camera module along with a new lighting system called the Glyph Bar on the back. It places LEDs in a straight strip across the back, and the bar is divided into six segments. It houses 63 LEDs, along with the red recording indicator. The lights can reach up to 3,500 nits of brightness, and they are available in three different levels. The company says that the new lighting system is around 40% higher than the previous generation.

The device has the power of the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 mobile processor along with 8GB or 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device runs on the latest Android 16 with Nothing OS 4.1 out of the box. The device is promised to receive 3 years of major Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
It comes with a 6.78-inch OLED panel along with 1,224 × 2,720 pixels resolution and the device supports a 120Hz refresh rate. It also comes with peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits, and the screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. The device comes with a 50-megapixel Samsung GN9 primary sensor with an f/1.88 lens and optical image stabilization along with a 50MP 3.5x periscope telephoto lens, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and the device also features a 32MP front camera.
The device also features an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance. The device houses a 5,080mAh battery along with 50W wired charging support.
Regarding the pricing and availability, the pre-orders for the device start today and it will be available from March 13. You can purchase the device through the official channels and from Flipkart in India. The pricing of the device starts at Rs 32,000 for the 8/128GB storage option, while the 8/256GB variant comes with a price tag of Rs 35,000, and the 12/256GB model costs Rs 38,000.
