The feature was first launched as a pilot in Lucknow in December 2021, and now it is being rolled out to a wider audience.
The new facility has been implemented in Delhi NCR and it will enable users to register along with booking a ride and getting a trip receipt as well. With the new capability users can carry out the purpose without downloading the official Uber app as well and this also gives an extra benefit as users can able to ride without having an extra app on their device. The Uber chatbot supports English and Hindi languages to book a cab on WhatsApp.

You can able to book Uber Cab via Whatsapp by following the steps which are listed below.
- A new or existing user who has registered with only a phone number on Uber can book a ride via WhatsApp and you can start the process by sending ‘Hi’ on Whatsapp to +91 7292000002.
- After that, you will be asked to provide pickup and drop off locations.
- Now you will receive the information related to the upfront fare and expected time for the arrival of driver.
- Now you can able to confirm the ride.
It is worth mentioning that the Uber chatbot on WhatsApp is powered by Infobip and the same is built on the WhatsApp Business Platform.
