Just a couple of days ago, we updated that the Amazon is gearing up to bring music streaming service to the Echo devices for free of cost. Well, ahead of Amazon, the Mountain View company Google has launched the same to the Google Assistant powered devices.
The search engine giant Google has announced that YouTube Music will be available for free of cost on Google Home devices along with other devices which are powered by Google Assistant. Having said that, the service will be supported with the advertisements because it is available for free of cost.
Speaking about the availability, the service is limited in selected markets including the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Great Britain, Ireland, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Japan, Netherlands, and Austria.
How to enable the service?
You guys can activate by heading to account settings and then tap on services. Once you have done that, select music and then set YouTube Music as the default music service.
Then just say “Hey Google, play [genre or mood]” and it will start playing the song. It’s noteworthy that the ad-supported YouTube Music won’t let you request specific songs, albums or playlist. So, you can only select a genre or style or mood of the music you’re looking for.
