Couple of weeks ago, we updated that WhatsApp may soon allow to send any kind of file and the world’s most favourite instant messaging application were testing the feature on its beta version too. Now finally the company has rolled out the feature officially, and made it to all the users of WhatsApp for Android.
On Google Play Store page, the changelog of WhatsApp says ‘You can send documents of any type. To send a document, open a chat, tap attach ~ document’. This sentence confirms that the feature has been added into the official version of the WhatsApp.

This is really and handy feature for the world’s most favourite instant messaging application, as we can now send any type of files through it without going for any other client. And if you are not able to send, then please be patient as the feature will hit on your device soon.
WhatsApp has also increased the size of files which you can share, Android users can share a file having a maximum size of 100 MB. On the other hand, iOS users can share up to 128 MB, Windows phone users can send 104 MB, and for the uses of WhatsApp web or WhatsApp desktop client can share 64 MB of files.
