The developers of the application of world’s favorite email client i.e. Gmail has updated and now it will allow you to decide what will happen when you swipe to left or right.
Till now when we open the Gmail application on a Smartphone and swipe a conversation to any direction i.e. right or left, it goes to the achieve section. But now things are going to change, as the application has updated and now it will allow you to decide what will happen when you swipe, which means now you can customize the swiping action. You need to set the swipe action and here is how you can do it.
How to change swipe action
Once you open the Gmail app, head to the Settings, and tap on the General settings. From there, you will see the ‘Swipe actions’ menu which will open a separate page. In the menu, you can able to change the swipe action when you swipe right or left. The menu has the options of Archive, Delete, Mark as read/unread, Move to, Snooze, and None. Once you make your selection, you can go back to the conversation section and swipe to your desired content.
Apart from this, the developers of the app have changed the ‘Gmail notification action’ at the top of the ‘General settings’ page and its changed to ‘Default notification action.’ speaking about the availability, it seems that the feature is a server-side update, so we need to wait to get the feature activated by the developers of the Gmail app. By the way, you guys update the Gmail to the latest version and Keep checking the Setting page.
