The purpose social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram have become an integral part of our life and we cannot able to think of a world without these two popular social media platforms. Both Instagram and Facebook are filled with advertisements that might affect the usage of some individuals who don’t like to see advertisements on the board and also to protect their privacy because we know that advertisements are targeted.
Now Meta has officially confirmed that you guys can able to use both Facebook and Instagram without advertisements and the same will ask you a payment to remove all the advertisements and the new facility is available only in Europe. The company has introduced the new subscription option to respond to new EU regulations that require companies to offer users a way to opt out of target advertising.
The newly announced ad-free subscriptions has a price tag of €9.99 per month if you sign up on the web, and €12.99 per month if you sign up through the Android or iOS apps. The additional price is due to the fees of Google and Apple.
So a single subscription will remove all the advertisements from both Instagram and Facebook. It is worth mentioning that the new subscription program will be starting from March 1, 2024, you will need to pay an additional €6/month per month through the web and €8/month through iOS and Android for each additional account in your Accounts Center.
