Nubia is set to launch entry-level gaming smartphone in India with RGB Lighting, air cooling technology.
The ZTE sub-brand, Nubia which entered India three years ago with some entry-level low-cost smartphone, But nothing is groundbreaking in its lineup. Now Nubia is planning to give a comeback with its gaming smartphone Red Magic which Nubia announced in April and the hot news about this smartphone is the pricing and the features it comes with.
The Nubia Red Magic smartphone features a 5.99-inch FHD+ LTPS TFT display with an 85 percent screen to body ratio. Ah, well it has got the 18:9 aspect ratio. The pixel density is of 403ppi and the resolution is 1080×2160.
The smartphone is powered by an outdated, yet powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC paired with 6/8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 64/128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage option. Powering this a 3,800mAh battery, with fast charging support and NeoPower 3.0 power saving feature to give a better power management through a day. The rear setup is a single 24-megapixel shooter with 0.9-micron pixel size and f/1.7 aperture and the front shooter is an 8-megapixel shooter with 1.12-micron pixel size and f/2.0 aperture. Never expect this setup to compete with Pixel 3 or OnePlus 6/6T.
In terms of gaming personality, the Smartphone has air-cooling technology in addition with nine air radiation slots for efficient cooling. The smartphone also comes with three-layer graphite lamination technology. Dedicated gaming modes disable incoming calls and other notifications. The gaming performance is boosted with turbo acceleration mode which the company claims to give better output during intense gaming. Presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack is appreciable. Also, a rear-mounted stylish fingerprint sensor is unique and sporty.
The Nubia Red Magic Smartphone is not the best one to compete with gaming beast like Razer series phone! Nubia is trying to attract budget and entry-level premium consumers. The Smartphone is priced at CNY 2,499 which is Rs 26,000 for the 6GB RAM, 64GB storage variant, and its 8GB + 128GB storage version priced at CNY 2,999 which is Rs 31,000. The smartphone will be available from mid-November after the Diwali session ends. Prebook offers is also expected as a promotion.
