After all the leaks, rumours, and teasers, today the very popular gaming smartphone brand Nubia has launched its latest smartphone and it is dubbed as Nubia Red Magic 5G. The smartphone is coming with really killing specifications and also make sure that it will offer an amazing experience to all the gamers, the smartphone is also coming with the next generation telecommunication chipset as well. Designing setup
The device is coming with the unique designing setup as it comes with a big X lending character at the rear side and the logo of the brand has RGB LEDs and that will glow. Coming to the front side, it doesn’t have any exciting look as the device comes with bezels on all the sides and the top bezel will accommodate the front-facing camera which means there is no notch or any kind of holes on the top of the display.
Specifications of Nubia Red Magic 5G
The smartphone features a 6.65 inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 2340 X 1080 pixels resolution, along with a 19:5:9 aspect ratio and 100% DCI P3. The highlighting factor is, it comes with the highest refresh rate of the market as the smartphone supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. Well, that means the smartphone will offer a buttery smooth touch experience and the display is also protected with Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood, the brand new Nubia Red Magic 5G is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor along with 8/12/16GB and comes with Adreno 650 GPU for the graphical task. In terms of storage, the device supports 128 GB and 256 GB of internal storage with UFS 3.0. Being a gaming smartphone, the smartphone comes with the most essential stuff and that’s to make the phone cool, it has something impressive setup. As the device features the active air-cooling system and the same includes a spinning fan with a heat-sink chamber, the company claims that the system can reduce the CPU temperature by up to 18°C. Furthermore, the cooling system also starts while the phone is charging at its peak 55W and this help to prevent the overheating issues. Cool, isn’t?
Moving to the photography department, the Nubia Red Magic 5G rocks triple rear camera setup and that is in the combination of a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary camera with f/1.8, 26mm (wide), 1/1.72″, 0.8µm, and PDAF, followed by an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, and 2MP macro lens. The camera module is also accompanied by the LED flash, the same also supports HDR, and panorama. On the front, the smartphone supports an 8 MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture.

The device runs on the latest version of the Android operating system – Android 10 with Red Magic OS atop, the latest Nubia Red Magic 5G is backed on 4,500 mAh with 65W fast charging technology.
Having said that, the device also has a Transparent edition as well and that is a limited edition and everything remains the same apart from a transparent look at the backside.
Pricing and availability
The base 8/128GB variant is priced at CNY3,799 while the 12/128GB variant will available for CNY4,099, the third variant – 12/256GB version will cost CNY4,399, and the high-end variant – 16GB RAM and 256GB storage variant will cost CNY4,999. Finally, the Transparent Edition is priced at CNY 4,599 for the 12/256 GB variant while the 16/256GB variant will cost CNY 5,199. The device is available for pre-order in China and it will go on sale from March 19. Having said that, the company will launch the device in the global market in late April.
