Last year, OnePlus promised to offer 4 years of Android updates and 5 years of security updates on selected smartphones and now the company has officially confirmed that its latest and greatest OnePlus 11 will be the first phone of the company to receive the highest number of software updates ever.
OnePlus 11 is officially confirmed to receive 4 years of Android updates and we know that the device is running on Android 13 out of the box which means it will receive up to Android 17.
Moreover, it is also confirmed that the smartphone will be receiving 5 years of security updates as well. This makes the device join the league of Samsung smartphones which receives the same number of software and security updates.
