OnePlus has rolled out the OxygenOS 15.0.0.500 update for the OnePlus 12R and brings the BeaconLink app and additional features. This update, currently exclusive to India.
BeaconLink was launched for the OnePlus 12 in January 2025 which enables short-distance calls via Bluetooth. It basically cuts the demand for the need for a SIM card, base station, or Wi-Fi. The app automatically searches for nearby devices and allows free calls within a 10 to 200-meter range.
The device also gets Touch to Share and the same supports iOS devices, enabling photo and file sharing with a single touch. The update also brings January 2025 Security Patch along with system stability.
The update is available via OTA and if you didn’t find the notification then check for the update manually by opening the settings app of the device.
