OnePlus is reportedly working on the next generation flagship smartphone called the OnePlus 15. The company is expected to skip the number 14. The device is expected to be announced before the end of this year and today the reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed some key details about the upcoming device.
It is reported that the company will be introducing its self developed imaging brand and the same will debut with the next generation flagship smartphone. Yes, the source says that the upcoming OnePlus 15 will be coming as the first phone of the company with a self-branded imaging solution.
If this information is correct, then the company will be ending its long term partnership with Hasselblad. It is also reported that the company will skip the circular camera setup as well and introducing a new camera layout.
The camera setup of the upcoming device is expected to include three 50-megapixel cameras, consisting of a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a 3x periscope telephoto unit.
It is expected that the upcoming OnePlus 15 will feature a 6.78-inch flat display with 1.5K resolution and the company will be using LIPO screen packaging technology. The device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset and the device will house a 7,000mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging support. The device is also expected to come with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor and an IP68/69-rated body.
