OnePlus 5’s Few Specs Got Leaked With 8GB RAM & More

Everyone knows that OnePlus is soon going to launch there flagship phone of this year, OnePlus 5. Recently OnePlus Weibo handle released a teaser image regarding there new smartphone. Though they didn’t revealed any specs or even a hint of USP in that image, today we have a leak that gives us some information regarding OnePlus 5. So let’s have a loom at the same.

As you can see from the image above, the Dual Camera Set-up will be placed in horizontal way just like Xiaomi Mi6, instead of a fake rendered image that was floating around from quite few days. There will be 2 storage variant this time, 1 with 6GB of RAM & 128GB of internal storage, and other with huge 8GB of RAM & 256GB of internal storage. Do note that last year also OnePlus was one of the 1st OEM who made 6GB RAM smartphone available in market. So maybe this year also OnePlus will be one of the 1st OEM to give 8GB of RAM, though Asus Zenfone AR already has 8GB RAM but it’s not available globally, especially in Asian markets.

Now coming back to the leak, the rumours about the 3000mah battery is fake & OnePlus 5 will have 3600mah battery. Also the OnePlus’s dash charge will have an improvement of 25% faster charging. The fingerprint sensor is still located at the front, same as OnePlus 3/3T. Now one thing to note here is that the leak mentions that there’s no confirmation whether a 3.5mm headphone jack will be present or not, so I suggest that those who are eagerly waiting for OnePlus’s next flagship will keep this in mind, at least be prepared.

So that’s all the information we have as of now. We will be back with many more leaks regarding OnePlus 5 very soon, so stay tuned with us for more information.
