Update: After many comments of fake picture on the leakster’s tweet, the leakster posted another photo of OnePlus 7 and this time the power button and alert slider are located at correct position. So finally we are considering this a fake picture.
Last month a live image got leaked showing the OnePlus 7 from the front with side to side comparison with OnePlus 6T. But in that image, the phone was protected in special cases, which is used by company officials before the launch of any smartphone. Now today’s leak shows us the front of the device in its full glory. So let’s have a look.
A guy on Twitter posted this leaked live image. As you can see from the image below, you will first notice that there is no notch present on the display. Neither water drop notch nor punch hole camera. So we are expecting that the phone will have any sort of slider mechanism for front camera. Coming to the bezels, the bottom bezel looks very thick. It even looks slightly thicker than OnePlus 6T’s bottom bezel. So is this image real?

It might be fake because there is another serious thing which we noticed in this picture. Have you noticed that? Well, that’s the button placement. Notice the bottom right portion of the phone in the image, you will notice the power button and alert slider are placed there. That’s a very awkward position for both the buttons because it’s very tricky to use the power button as well as a slider at that position. Also, the leakster who posted this picture does not have any previous track record of smartphone leaks. Lastly, if the display is rotated 180 due to auto-rotate, the OxygenOS don’t have that options as of now, except for the camera app.
So what are your thoughts on this image? Let us know in the comment section below, also stay tuned with us for more information.
