The popular Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus is expected to start the upcoming year by launching the OnePlus Ace 3 as it is expected to be announced on January 4, 2024, in the market of China but we still need to get the official confirmation on the launch date of the device. It seems that the launch is around the corner as today the company has officially revealed the design language of the upcoming phone.
The newly shared teaser video of the device shows an appealing Sand Gold color variant. We can also see that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone will feature a circular camera module on the back panel.
The right side of the device features volume controller buttons and a power button, while the left side of the device is the place for the signature alert slider. It seems that the top side of the device is housing a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker hole. The teaser video is not offering a glimpse at the front side.
Based on the previous reports, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 will feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge OLED screen along with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is integrated with a fingerprint scanner and it will be running on Android 14 out of the box.
The upcoming device is expected to come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with 12 GB / 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM as well as 256 GB / 512 GB / 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. The device will house a 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging.
It will feature a 16-megapixel front facing camera while the back panel of the device will come with an OIS-enabled IMX890 50-megapixel primary camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It is worth mentioning that the device will launch as the OnePlus 12R moniker in the global market on January 23.
