According to the latest information, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone will be official on January 4 and we know that this particular series is meant for the market of China only. However, the OnePlus Ace 3 will arrive to the global market in the name of OnePlus 12R.
It is expected that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 3 smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel camera that could be for ultra-wide shots. The new leak also says that the device will come with a 2-megapixel camera which might be for macro images. It was previously reported that the company will be offering the device with a 32-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. It is also expected that the upcoming device will feature a 16-megapixel front camera.
Moreover, the upcoming device is expected to feature a curved-edge OLED screen with a punch-hole setup at the centre position of the screen along with a metal middle frame, and the device will feature a glass back. The device is also believed to come with a 6.78-inch BOE X1 8T LTPO display along with 1.5K resolution. It will feature 2160Hz PWM dimming and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will come with the power of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile processor along with a massive 5,500mAh battery with 100W charging and it will be running on the Android 14 operating system out of the box.
