OnePlus is confirmed to launch the new OnePlus Ace 5 series in the markets of China later this month. It is reported that the tests were conducted in a controlled environment with a room temperature of approximately 20°C, and the screen brightness of the device was locked at around 440 nits. It is also said that all tests were performed in performance mode.
It is said that while playing the “Honor of Kings” with ultra-high graphics settings and a 10V10 mode, the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 smartphone has achieved an average of 119.5 fps with a power consumption of 3.38W. It is worth mentioning that this is significantly lower than the regular Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. On the other hand, in “Genshin Impact” at the max settings, the device has achieved an average of 60.2 fps with a power consumption of 4.8W. In “Honkai: Star Rail” during high-load scenarios, the device experienced significant frame rate fluctuations but it was capable to manage 55.2 fps with a power consumption of 5.7W.
The upcoming device is expected to come with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will feature BOE X2 flat display along with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The device will feature 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and 512GB UFS 4.0 storage.
