The new OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro are confirmed to be announced in China on December 26 and today the devices are spotted in the databases of China’s MIIT authority, the listing reveals the full specification details of the devices. It is revealed that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch flat AMOLED panel with a 1.5K resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display of the devices will be integrated with an optical-type in-screen fingerprint scanner. The devices will be running on the Android 15 operating system out of the box.
The listing has also confirmed that the devices will come with 3.3GHz and 4.3GHz octa-core chipsets, which are the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite, respectively. Both devices will come with 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+256GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB storage options.
It is revealed that the vanilla variant will come with a 6,285mAh rated value battery while the Pro variant is backed by a dual-cell battery with a 2,970mAh rated value for one of its cells. It is expected to come with a large 6,100mAh (typical) value battery. The vanilla variant is expected to support 80W charging, whereas the Pro variant may offer 100W charging.
The smartphone series will come with a 16-megapixel camera on the front and the devices will feature a 50-megapixel main camera along with 8-megapixel and 2-megapixel auxiliary cameras on the back.
