Today a Chinese tech blogger has revealed the upcoming Ace 5 series’ reservations have begun in China. The important specifications of the smartphone series also leaked online. Let’s talk about the reservation listing, it is revealed that the OnePlus Ace 5 series is available on a Chinese retailer site and it is mentioned that the deadline is 14:30 on December 26. So we can assume that December 26 could be the Ace 5 series’ launch date.
It is expected that the upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro will come with a 6.78-inch flat BOE X2 OLED panel along with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The vanilla variant will be coming with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 6,415mAh battery with 80W fast charging. While the Pro variant is expected to come with the Snapdragon 8 Elite mobile processor along with a 6,100mAh battery with 100W charging. The smartphone series will also come with LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
The upcoming smartphone series is reported to come with an OIS-enabled 50-megapixel main sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens, and a 2-megapixel camera. Having said that, the Ace 5 Pro is expected to feature a Sony IMX906 primary camera. The devices will come with a metal middle frame along with a short-focus fingerprint scanner, and an alert slider. It is expected to run on Android 15 out of the box.
