OnePlus has confirmed to launch the new OnePlus Ace 5 Series in the markets of China on December 26 and the vanilla variant is believed to be introduced as the OnePlus 13R. Today the company has revealed some important details about the upcoming smartphone series and it is confirmed to come with the features including Dolby Vision, Dual Ice Core VC Cooling & IP65 Protection. The upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 series is confirmed to support Dolby Vision video playback and the same will enhance video quality and the Pro variant of the smartphone series is confirmed to feature a double-sided crystal shield glass for improved display protection and the device will also come with an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance.
It is also revealed that the Pro model will come with three microphones utilizing AI noise-reduction technology and the smartphone series will be running on ColorOS 15. The upcoming Pro variant will come with the power of a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC with an AnTuTu score of 3,218,978 points.
The upcoming OnePlus Ace 5 Pro is also said to be selected as the official competition phone for the 2025 PEL Peace Elite Professional League and the device will come with advanced gaming capabilities such as the Fengchi Game Core and a groundbreaking “Tiangong Cooling Elite” system.
This cooling system will be introducing the industry’s first “Dual Ice Core VC,” a 3D stereo dual-channel capillary structure that doubles heat dissipation speed. The company will also introduce a unique chip air duct design and the same will reduce processor temperature by up to 5°C.
