The Chinese flagship makers OnePlus keeps a good record for rolling out the new version of Android to its devices, and now the company announced that its last year’s flagship – OnePlus 5 and 5T will receive the latest version of Android i.e. Android Pie 9.0.
The company has announced that the latest version of Android 9.0 is ready to roll out to the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T devices and the latest version of Android will land on the devices with the OxygenOS 9.0.0 OTA update. The smartphone brand announced the news on its forum and the founder and CEO of the company- Pete Lau also shared the news on his official Twitter handle.

With the latest update, users of both the OnePlus 5 and 5T will get the following new features:-

Brand new UI for Android Pie
Brand new navigation gestures (Available for OnePlus 5T only)
Updated Android security patch to 2018.12
