OnePlus joined hands with McLaren, which is a renowned British automotive manufacturer back in 2018. During the year, OnePlus unveiled their OnePlus 6T McLaren.The latest device from the partnership was the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. And now evidence suggests that OnePlus has broken ties with McLaren.
According to reports, OnePlus is no longer listed on the McLaren’s Partners page. This can only mean that both companies have parted their ways. OnePlus 6T McLaren debuted the 30 Watt fast charging which was one of the fastest at the time. It came for 700 Euros with 10 GB of RAM. If OnePlus is indeed launching a successor to the OnePlus 8 Series in October as usual, it might be with a new partner whose details are currently unknown.
To recall OnePlus has also launched several other limited edition smartphones in ties with other franchises. It includes OnePlus 5T Star Wars Limited Edition, OnePlus 6 Marvel Avengers Limited Edition and the OnePlus 8 Pro Limited Edition smartphones in partnership with the artist Andre.
