Same neckband design with rubberized cable. But the earbuds are made up of different material. It has a plastic design in the earbuds. It looks decent enough. The plastic material makes it light in weight. The light here means just 29 grams. Making it very comfortable to hang around your neck.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z has the same controls as Bullets Wireless 1 and 2. But there are quite a few changes. The power button is on the left end of the neckband. And a LED just above it. It’s not visible but is on when you pair earphones or turn it on or off. And another good feature is that double-clicking will switch between two paired devices. The Bullets Wireless Z has quick pair support. However, they are not quick in connecting with OnePlus phones. Hoping OnePlus fixes this problem soon.
There are three buttons inline on the left neckband. They are tiny and not so tactile. These buttons are volume up, volume down, and an action button to play/pause/skip tracks or turn on Google Assistant or answer calls. The button responses are again quick. There is great magnetic control as well. The earbuds when snapped together pauses the music and releasing them will autoplay the music.
Sound Quality: OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z Review
The Bullets Wireless Z comes with 9.22mm Drivers compared to the 10mm driver on Bullets Wireless 2. The sound quality is pretty good. The music gets loud without any distortions at maximum volume. Bass is also good, but sometimes the tump is missing. Instrument separation is decent enough.
But again, the OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z does complete justice to the price. Bullets Wireless Z offers better sound quality but the difference is not much. Bullets Wireless Z supports the AAC audio files but does not support aptX HD codec. Now answering the important question of latency. The earphones come with Bluetooth 5.0 and on OnePlus phone with fanatic mode. There is low latency mode as well. So there is no issue with the latency of the earphones.

OnePlus Bullets Wireless Z are rated to last for 20 hours. And talking about the charging, it offers 10 hours of charge on 10 mins of charging. A 30T WARP charger charges from 0-100 in 24 minutes.
