It was expected that the company will be launching the device on August 29 but today we got a new piece of information which is suggesting that the launching of the device might be delayed and that will be beneficial for the customers as well. According to the reliable tipster Max Jambor, the launching of the folding smartphone might be delayed because the company is not satisfied with the screens supplied by BOE. It is also said that the company is planning to use Samsung panels for its upcoming foldable smartphone. This will be offering a better experience.

Based on the previous reports, the upcoming device is expected to feature a 6.3-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate while the inner display will feature a large 7.8-inch AMOLED screen along with a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
It is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup including a 48MP main camera, a 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 64MP telephoto sensor. For selfies, the main display of the device will feature a 32MP camera whereas the interior screen will feature a 20MP camera sensor.
Under the hood, the OnePlus folding smartphone will reportedly be powered by the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor along with up to 16GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is also expected to house a 4,800mAh battery along with 67W fast charging and the device will be running on Android 13 with OxygenOS 13.1 out of the box.
