OnePlus Foldable Smartphone Launching TODAY

Samsung’s UNPACKED Event is just an hour later and we are done with all the leaks of devices unveiling today. The highlight of today’s event will be Galaxy Z Fold3 and Galaxy Z Flip3. Both are foldable smartphones with different folding style. The Z Fold3 has book style fold screen, and Z Flip3 has flip screen fold style. Now seems like Chinese smartphone giant OnePlus is also bringing the competitor of Z Fold3 today. A FOLDABLE SMARTPHONE FROM ONEPLUS!

Yesterday OnePlus teased a book style foldable smartphone on its social media handles, which they are going to announce today at 10:00 AM ET (07:30 PM IST). That’s the exact same time of Samsung’s event. So, a OnePlus foldable smartphone without much hype? Actually, it’s just a joke by OnePlus. The company who can overhype ‘Hassleblad’ branding for months, won’t just launch such big thing without any hype.

They just placed two OnePlus 9 Pro side by side, showing it like a foldable smartphone. They were trying to do some joke with Samsung and the public. Like a fake 2-minute hype of OnePlus Folding Smartphone, or indirectly reminding that Samsung’s event is on this date, at that time.

Troll army are saying it just a trick of OnePlus’s social media handler to grab some reach in Samsung’s limelight. And others are finding the humor OnePlus is trying to do. What do you think about this? What was the sarcasm behind this post? Or it’s just a marketing tactic by the social media handler? Let us know in the comment section below.
