OnePlus Nord 2 is the latest special edition phone from OnePlus. OnePlus Nord is partnering with Namco as a brand band to launch the 2 x PAC-MAN version. OnePlus will present its own story depicting PAC-MAN’s journey into the universe.
The special edition phone will be delivered in two main areas (via Android Authority). First, the company will offer the so-called “Signature Fast and Smooth Experience”. Secondly, it will be “refreshing, exciting and unforgettable”.
Now, all the limited edition OnePlus phones have unique and great designs. But the PAC-MAN variant is the first to introduce a “guided” UI. OnePlus clearly proves that it takes a lot of effort to design the device.
The gamified UI will feature retro video games, OxygenOS icons based on unique wallpapers and animations, a unique camera filter, and a pre-installed PAC-MAN 256 game. Completing the game will unlock an array of exclusive PAC-MAN content.
Along with customized software, the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN version comes with several hardware design changes and stands out from the vanilla variant. It has a “dual film color, material and finish (CMF)” that integrates PAC-MAN components into the body. There are also sports bits on the back of the phone that glow in the dark.
They are said to have been developed in collaboration with OnePlus software teams in various countries.The features of the OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN version are similar to the vanilla version.
It has a 90Hz panel, a flagship MediaTek Dimension 1200 chip, and a 50MP primary camera, all with support for 65W charging and 4500mAh.
OnePlus Nord 2 x PAC-MAN – Price
The phone is a bit more expensive compared to the vanilla model. The only variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage is priced at ₹ 37,999 ($ 512) in India, £ 499 ($ 673) in the UK and € 529 ($ 612) in Europe.
