After a lot of campaign and teasing, OnePlus has launched two new OnePlus TVs in India. They are part of the newly launched OnePlus TV U Series and Y Series. The new modes come with budget pricing and amazing specifications. So, let’s check out the complete specifications along with the pricing and availability of the new OnePlus TV.
Starting with the OnePlus Y Series TVs are available in two sizes. Y-Series TVs come in a 32-inch screen with HD resolution having 1,366 x 768 pixels resolution and the other model comes with 43-inch with Full-HD resolution having 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. The U-Series OnePlus TV has a single model with a 55-inch screen. It is an Ultra-HD TV, having a 4K resolution with 3840 x 2160 pixels. The Series-U model has support for up to the Dolby Vision HDR format. This model is very similar to the OnePlus Q1 TV except for the QLED panel. The U-Series TV has 93 percent color gamut on DCI-P3, which is followed by most cinema halls around the world. It has a thickness of 6.99 mm near the edges and a 95% screen-to-body ratio.
Both U-Series and Y-Series OnePlus TVs are having features such as Oxygen Play, OnePlus Connect, and more. OnePlus has made sure users get a rich smart TV experience at an affordable price. The remote comes with dedicated buttons for Netflix and Amazon Prime Video and Google Assistant. All three TV models run on Android TV 9 Pie. It packs features such as Google Assistant, Google Chromecast, and the Google Play Store. The Y series has a rated sound output of 20W and comes with Dolby Audio tuning, while the U series has a more powerful 30W four-speaker setup and support for Dolby Atmos audio.
Pricing and Availability
OnePlus has priced the models very aggressively. The OnePlus TV Y-Series start at Rs. 12,999 for the 32-inch variant, and at Rs. 22,999 for the 43-inch variant. While the OnePlus TVU-Series starts at Rs. 49,999. The company has announced the sale will start on July 5. They will be available on Amazon India and via offline retail stores.
