OnePlus the very popular flagship smartphone brand and it is very much in demand in the market of India, and today we got a new piece of information which suggests that the company leads the premium smartphone segment in the Indian market in the third quarter of this year.
According to Counterpoint, the flagship segment in India has grown by 66 percent year-over-year in the last quarter. And OnePlus dominated the segment, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7T phones helped the performance of the company in Q3. Having said that, the company secured a 35% market share in India in Q3.
Speaking about other brands, Samsung has secured a 23% share in Q3 and the Galaxy Note 10 series helped the company for the performance. And Apple scored 22% market share with the help of the iPhone XR which managed half of Apple’s shipment in the last quarter.
Moreover, the Counterpoint report also says OnePlus grew almost 100% year-over-year, while the South Korean electronics giant Samsung, and Apple has 79% from 83% last year.
