According to the latest analysis of the Indian smartphone market by Counterpoint Research, the Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus has overtaken the Samsung to lead the premium smartphone segment for the first time ever for a full quarter. The second quarter of the year, OnePlus has captured 40% of the market with its latest flagship smartphone called OnePlus 6. Furthermore, the company is also the fastest growing brand in the premium category.
So, as a smartphone lover, this is really to see the brands rising and I’m really happy to see the growth of the OnePlus. And this is the strong warning to Samsung as they should improve their concept and also rethink the pricing setup.
