OnePlus Nord is the first mid-range smartphone of the company and it was introduced in the market last year. The smartphone came with heavy specifications along with an affordable price tag and the device also help the company to go back its root. Well, today the company will launch the successor of the device and before that, the OnePlus Nord is discontinued in India.
It is reported that the device will not be available for purchase via online and offline market in the country and the reason is the arrival of its successor and that is OnePlus Nord 2 which will be introduced in the market of Europe and India today.

Specifications of OnePlus Nord
Starting with the display, both the smartphones sport a 6.44-inch AMOLED Full HD+ display with 2400 x 1080 pixels resolution and 408 PPI. The 20:9 aspect ratio display has a 90 Hz display with touch sampling rate of 180 Hz. The smartphones feature a punch-hole setup on the top left corner of the display for the selfie camera. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
The OnePlus Nord is powered by the Snapdragon 765G build on 7 nm architecture. The smartphone has the options of 8/128 GB LPDDR4X RAM and storage combo or a higher 12/256 GB variant as well. The company will also sell a 6/64 GB version exclusively in India. The Nord uses a faster UFS 2.0 storage type as well. It comes with the signature alert slider seen in all OnePlus phones that allows you to silence the phone in a flick.
Coming to the camera department, Nord has a quad-camera setup. It begins with 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 as the primary sensor. and with f/1.75 aperture. The secondary lens in Nord is a 2 MP macro camera with f/2.4 aperture and 1/5″ sensor size and the third camera is an 8 MP ultrawide sensor with a FOV of 119 degrees and an f/2.25 aperture. Finally, there is a 5 MP depth sensor taking the count to four. It seems OnePlus gave more importance to the selfie department as there’s a dual-camera setup on the front. The main selfie snapper is a 32 MP Sony IMX616 sensor with f/2.45 aperture. It is supported by an 8MP ultrawide sensor with 105-degree FOV and f/2.45 aperture. Both of them housed inside the punch hole towards the left of the display.
For connectivity options, they have SA and NSA dual-mode 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1, Wi-Fi 6, and a Type-C USB port onboard. In terms of the battery department, OnePlus Nord has a typical 4,100 mAh battery and 30W 30T warp charger inside the box. The company claims it can refill the battery up to 70% in just 30 minutes. The smartphone will ship with Android 10 OS with OxygensOS on top. It offers an in-display fingerprint scanner for biometric level security.
